Since time immemorial man has been driven to understand the nature of the universe in which he lives. From the earliest civilisations, man attempted to achieve this understanding through the creation of Gods who took responsibility for the vicissitudes of earthly existence. Man blamed the Gods when there were disasters and when things did not go right, and thanked the Gods when things were bountiful.

As the history has shown, man is never content to leave his own destiny to others (including – or perhaps especially -   the Gods!). There will always be those who seek to determine their own destiny, to gain control over the Gods and to ultimately become Gods themselves.

This is the promise of the magical path; man came from the Gods and will ultimately return to the Gods, taking his rightful place in the spiritual hierarchy of beings, having evolved and learnt from the aeons of time he has spent in physical form through repeated incarnations over the long period of Earth’s history.

Magical Training is a process of spiritual development. Spiritual development is essentially about raising consciousness. This can be thought of as raising the frequency of vibration of the whole person; from their physical body to the parts of their being known by the ancients as the subtle bodies. Hence the name “Esoteric Science” as we are dealing with things normally removed from everyday existence.
