Once again we work the magic of King Arthur…… in the land that gave him birth!
A Workshop of Celtic Magic and Arthurian Legend in the Magical Birthplace of
King Arthur
with Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki & Andy Cooper
26th – 28th March 2010
Camelot Castle Hotel, Tintagel,
Cornwall
An almost unbelievable opportunity…
In 2008 Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki and Andy Cooper co-wrote and facilitated a weekend magical working in Tintagel entitled “Within the Tower of Merlin.” This working consisted of a series of rituals designed to reconnect the ‘Otherworld’ of Logres with the physical Realm of Avalon, the Blessed Isles. It proved to be a profound, powerful and deeply magical experience for the participants and set in force a current of magical energy throughout the Blessed Isles that now requires direction and focus for the healing of the land to be continued.
“Within the Mists of Avalon” is a three-day gathering taking the work achieved during the previous “Merlin” workshop to the next level. Once again we will practice the magic of King Arthur in the very places where he once lived and breathed. Imagine yourself:
• Performing ritual in the ruins of King Arthur’s castle at
Tintagel, Cornwall, England.
• Involved in a dramatic
ritual within the gloomy depths of Merlin’s Cave.
•
Directing the energy of the Red and White Dragons of
Albion.
• Experiencing magic of a higher order than you
have ever known before.
All under the guidance and facilitation of two Third Degree Initiates widely experienced in Arthurian legend, lore and magical practice, Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki and Andy Cooper.
The Healing of the Wasteland

The intention is to work with Arthur, Merlin, the Company of the Table Round and the Court of the Fae to continue the healing of the land and to restore the sacred trust between humankind and the Fae, who are an integral part of Arthurian legend and tradition. To achieve this requires focussed attention, magical training and ability and a dedication that goes way beyond mere role-playing and singing the ancient songs. This workshop demands commitment, dedication and not a little courage. You will be pushed to the edge of your magical ability and beyond. Your stamina will be tested, and, each and every participant will be required to ‘step up to the plate’ magically, emotionally, intellectually and physically.
A unique individual contribution
Just as in the previous “Merlin” workshop, participants will each be assigned a part as far in advance of the workshop as is possible. You will be expected to meditate and work with that archetype, so that by the time you attend the workshop that character will be an integrated part of you. This is to enable a high degree of spontaneity and connectivity with the magical realms, as the connection to the inner realms of Logres will already be embedded within you. Upon being assigned a part, you will be given details of the costume you will need to wear for the weekend. As some of the work will be outside in Cornish March weather, a heavy cloak and possibly boots would be an advantage. Men may also be asked to bring either a sword or a staff.
Working with the Land

Being in Tintagel offers the perfect opportunity to work magically in all the places traditionally associated with Arthur and Merlin during Arthur’s formative years. We will perform rituals in Tintagel Castle itself (where we will have exclusive access) and in Merlin’s Cave, in the headland under Tintagel Castle, only accessible at low tide.
What You will Gain From Attending This Workshop
This will be a profound magical and spiritual experience. Application to join the workshop is open to anyone from all lands and attendance at the previous “Merlin” workshop is not a pre-requisite for attending “Within the Mists of Avalon.”
Some parts will be assigned based on magical experience and ability to ensure that we are able to support the work of the group and create a deep and powerful connection between Albion and Logres. In many ways you should not ask the question “What is in it for me?” but remember the Magician’s Maxim “I desire to know, in order to serve.” From service and dedication to “The Matter of Britain” will come profound change and, quite literally, a once in a lifetime experience.
Given the profound experiences participants had on “Within the Tower of Merlin” in 2008 we expect this workshop to be very oversubscribed.
