The Western Esoteric Traditions are a little understood corpus of spiritual practices that have been handed down from ancient Egypt, via the Qabalah of the Jews, classical Greece and the renaissance philosophers and alchemists to the modern practitioners of esoteric science in all its forms. This series of four weekend workshops introduces participants to the spiritual practices of the Western Esoteric Traditions centered around Qabalistic and Egyptian ritual.
On this course you will learn:
Andy Cooper, Director of Studies of the Academy of the Opened Ways
Andy Cooper is a Third Degree Initiate of the Western Mystery Tradition and a very experienced practicing ritualist. His lineage comes from Dion Fortune, the founder of the Society of the Inner Light, through Ernest Butler, the founder of the Servants of the Light (SOL) and Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, its current Director of Studies. Andy holds a PhD in Esoteric Studies and is a certified trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a Reiki Master and an initiate of the Huna tradition of ancient Hawaii. He is the Director of Studies of the Academy of the Opened Ways, a fully chartered and contacted daughter school of the SOL that integrates psychotherapy, hypnosis and esoteric science into a new curriculum focused on the coherent development of the emotional, mental and psspiritual aspects of a person.
